Someone has to be serious once in a while.  Too bad it can't be Bill.

Sweet Williams Lament:

Times aren't good, but they're not too bad.
Lord knows this country is kind of sad.
We saw in NY the towers came down,
But things are OK in this little town.

The rich folks and losers have left for the season.
It's too cold and windy, I guess that's the reason.
If summertime people stayed for the year,
They'd know why we drink lots of cases of beer.

But our roads have emptied.  You can actually drive.
No more going JUST 25!

Yes summertime has come and gone.
The wind blows dead leafs across your lawn.
The sun rides low across the sky.
Yes, most people left, it's no wonder why.

But we'll do just fine because we have each other.
Love your friends like a sister or brother.
Be grateful for friends, be thankful to God.
For He knows it's not easy living out on Cape Cod.
